Happy Mother's Day!

Sheryl, Kara (5yrs), Trevor (3yrs) on Mother's Day May 2010. I was a week away from having a baby on mother's day this year! The kids did a good job in this picture fitting on my lap with my big belly! We were all very excited to soon welcome a new member of our family into our home!

Baby Jepson Coming SOON!

Less than two weeks and we will be welcoming a new member of our family! Trevor is very excited to be a big brother and talks about his little brother all the time! He says things like, "I'm gonna teach him how to run, and jump AND FIGHT!" I hope he won't be too disappointed when the baby is unable to do all of these things right away! Kara is excited to hold and feed him and keeps saying, "I like baby boys!" and gets a big grin when she demonstrates how she's going to hold, rock and burp him.
My scheduled C-Section is for May 18th at Utah Valley Regional Medical Center. The doctor today said he is guessing that he will be bigger at birth that his siblings were. (Kara was 7lbs 1 oz, and Trevor was 7lbs 6oz). I don't doubt it, he is really strong and I feel that I am bigger with him than I was with the other two. We shall see!
Sometimes I feel like I want him out right now because of how uncomfortable he is making me, and other times I get nervous that he might come early when I think of all I have to get done before his arrival! Yikes! I am very much a "worrier" and I tend to stress out about being perfectly prepared for these kind of things. But I'm sure no matter what I do I will not be totally ready to be the mother of three! Nevertheless we are very excited to meet him and will post pictures as soon as we can after his arrival!

Happy 5th Birthday KARA!!

On March 12th, Kara turned 5 yrs old. She had a friend's party that day at Chuck E Cheese (scroll down for pictures of that event) and two days later, on the 14th we had a family party for her at our house. Two parties for our darling little princess! She loved it! After she opened each gift she would go to the person who gave it to her and give them a hug and say "Thank You". Even Mommy got a thank you hug! She is so courteous and polite...way to go Kara!
Kara with her requested "Purple guitar cake". She loves Hannah Montana and does "concerts" for us everyday. She said this year she wanted a purple guitar cake so Mommy did her very best. This was the first cake that Sheryl made totally on her own, without mom's help! Yikes! I had to put up a few pictures because it took me several hours and I thought it didn't turn out too bad for a rookie.

Kara with Cousin's Chris and Sheryl (they are more like Aunt and Uncle though... and they are so much fun!) Thanks for coming to her party!

She got many wonderful gifts from everyone! Thank you to all who spoiled her! She even got an actual Hannah Montana guitar that plays songs and lights up to go with her cake!

Happy 5th Birthday KARA!

Friday, March 12th 2010. Kara had been begging for a Chuck E Cheese birthday party for months. Well, she finally got it. And she was thrilled. She sure loved the spotlight! Being the "STAR" really made her smile!

From Jan. 6th through Jan. 12, 2010 Jeff and I went on a trip to WA DC and left the kids here in Utah with Jeff's parent who flew in from Idaho to spend the week with Kara and Trevor! (We are so grateful!) I was so excited because I had never been! We went for Jeff to accept an International Award with the rest of his Engineering Team form the International Road Federation. The Awards Banquet was held on Monday Jan. 11th. Jeff and his team won for the significant advances in technologies that they have made to the industry internationally. Way to GO! While there, we had some fun!
