Kara with her requested "Purple guitar cake". She loves Hannah Montana and does "concerts" for us everyday. She said this year she wanted a purple guitar cake so Mommy did her very best. This was the first cake that Sheryl made totally on her own, without mom's help! Yikes! I had to put up a few pictures because it took me several hours and I thought it didn't turn out too bad for a rookie.

She got many wonderful gifts from everyone! Thank you to all who spoiled her! She even got an actual Hannah Montana guitar that plays songs and lights up to go with her cake!

I love the idea of using cupcakes for the guitar handle -- very creative. I also love the details, like the M&M's and marshmallows.
Wow, you are amazing at noticing detail. THANK YOU! Yeah, all the examples I saw used cake for the neck of the guitar but I thought that cupcakes would work and be easier! The marshmellow idea my mom and I came up with too. Again...easier! Thank you very much, you are so sweet!
Seriously Sheryl that cake is awesome! good job! I am impressed. I really am so sorry we can never come to anything.... I hate it, I so wish we could!
Love the cake. You and I must have gotten a picture from the same place because it looks similar to the one I attempted to make for Taylor. Yours is a lot better though, I was in too big of a hurry.
